fundamental forces in flight

Here you ready to take a flight for learn

Four fundamental forces in flight

  1. lift
  2. weight
  3. thrust
  4. drag

Lift:
The upward force produce by an air foil such as a wing interacting with air. Lift act s at right angle  to the relative wind or flight path.

Weight:
Weight opposses lift which is always acts directly toward the centerof earth.

Thrust:
The forward force generated by a propeller (in old aircraft) or jet enginein modren craft that moves air craft forward through air.
e.g.,
in home like a air blor turn on it push our hand little back that is thrust.

Drag:
The resistance of an object to movement through a fluid like water air or etc.

e.g.,
when ever you move a finger in water filling bath youe examine that waves are generates these waves are generate cause of resistance of fluid (DRAG).
There are two kind of drag.
  1. Parasite drag
  2. Induce drag
Parasit drag:
It cause by friction the air plane surface. Parasite drag increase in proportion to square of air plane velocity.

Induced drag:
it is a biproduct of  lift. At tip of wing air moves from the high pressure area below the wings and low pressure area above the wings, The energy used to creat these vortices manifists itself as induced drag, which increases as airspeed drops.
